I'm being honored as a Black Girl That Rocks on...
This means that my picture, bio, and personal statement about why black girls rock will be hanging in the student center all week. There’s also a tea and a forum. I’m pretty excited about it. I don’t see myself as a black girl that rocks I guess. I see myself as Jasmine; a black woman just doing all she can. I’m honored that someone thinks I “rock” =)

I would be lying to myself if I said it didnt hurt a little. I’d be lying to you if I said I didn’t shed a couple tears. But believe me when I prayed over the entire situation because I still want him to be happy in his endeavors and I want to be happy and have peace in mine.
